Bob,

Great picture! I always new your little coffee cherries were small - just didn't guess that small :) As to talking to yourself . . . well it's about time you joined the rest of us! The way I see it is - any fantastic coffee roaster with that special gift of nurturing a humble coffee bean into a grand exploration of the senses that ultimately sings from your coffee cup must be a little wacky. Yes - the mobile cafe hit a small speedbump called the Greenbush - However that takes nothing away from your mad roasting skills and the sweet pleasure that you provide to all your South Shore coffee fans in Massachusetts! The Hingham Food Center - Milton Food Center - Whole Foods - keep on spreading the love.

PS -- you should send this photo to the crew at Clover.

Bob, I had a blast working the coffee stand with you this past weekend. You were definately ripping out the cuppuccino’s too. Nice work! And your new Fall Fusion blend rocks.

I agree w/ all of your 10 points above. Look at this as a marketing event where you are getting your name out there. Not only are you exposing your coffee to new people, but you are exposing your personality. You are putting a face to the coffee... and that means a lot to some people. And you never know... one of those people could be quite influential and in the market for a gourmet roaster.

There is a little cafe in Cohasset called "French Memories that peddles my coffee. The folks that run it really are "French" and the pastries they make are positively sinful. The problem is they don't start baking until 6:00 am and I'll need to be set up by 5:30. That means I have to find someone who is baking at 3:00 am. If you're ever down this way stop in and try some. Whatever it is you eat will instantly add 6 pounds to your butt.

Pastries are hard. Sample everyone and look for people who aren't necessarily 'doing wholesale' yet. Those people often have much better product then the wholesale ppl.

Interesting to see what happens with the kiosk.
Cheers-
